About the Senior Operations Manager Role

What started as a garage business has grown into an international brand with a rapidly-growing global business. We’re looking for a resourceful, highly organized problem solver to design and implement smart, efficient systems and procedures to help us guide our next phase of growth.

Responsibilities:

    • General Operations
      • Own the analysis of our operational processes and continuously identify areas for improvement
      • Create and implement new procedures to increase efficiency across all departments
      • Systems & 3PL Management
        • Administrate our ERP System, Stitch Labs (previous Stitch Labs experience is a plus, but not required)
        • Ongoing management and evaluation of our 3PL – act as a point of contact between our brand and the offsite 3PL team
        • Design and implement SOPs for 3PL best practices: order fulfillment, inventory management, reporting, quality control etc.
        • Manage UPC program for all SKU’s
      • Customer Experience
        • Oversee our Customer Service operations
        • Staff and oversee Customer Service Lead and part-time employees to ensure all customer inquiries and issues are being addressed in a timely and friendly manner via ZenDesk
        • Work with Customer Service Lead and Marketing Director to continually streamline our returns and exchanges policies and system
      •  Ecommerce / Direct Channel
        • Oversee domestic and international webstore shipping strategies, couriers, cutoff dates and schedules
        • Manage procurement of custom ecommerce shipping boxes and order inserts
        • Monitor ecommerce stock levels via Stitch Labs
        • Ensure all direct orders are shipping on time and correctly from our 3PL warehouse
      • Wholesale
        • Work with Account Managers, outside sales reps, and Finance Department to streamline wholesale order/reorder process
        • Work with Account Managers to ensure 3PL is shipping wholesale orders on time and that any vendor guidelines are met
        • Manage our wholesale stock levels via Stitch Labs
      • Production & Global Logistics
        • Work alongside our production, sourcing and design teams to facilitate seasonal purchasing
        • Coordinate and manage the importing of all product purchases from overseas vendors
        • Ongoing value engineering, analysis and streamlining of supply chain
      • Finance
        • Work with Finance Department to develop and implement Operations financial strategies, including budgets and cost controls
        • Manage our budget for Cost of Goods for all products, including product cost, logistics, distribution and CapEx
      • Showroom / HQ
        • Manage showroom inventory (used for PR pulls and Showroom sales)
        • Hire and manage a “Showroom Manager” to manage our public facing showroom and part time retail staff
        • Coordinate and manage utilities for our office – phone, internet, security, cleaners, etc.
      • Management
        • 2-3 Interns
        • 2-3 Customer Service staff
        • 2-3 Showroom sales staff
        • 1-2 Operations/Production Department subordinates


      Qualifications:
        • 3-4+ years experience
          • An emphasis on direct-to-consumer online retail is ideal.
        • Organization
          • You are highly organized to the edge of OCD. Your calendars and files are a temple.
        • Systems Oriented and Data Driven
          • Systems and metrics are important to you. You track progress and have the numbers to back it up. Advance knowledge of Excel is a must.
        • Building and Managing High Performance Teams
          • You recruit and retain the right talent. Train, coach and develop your team to position them for growth.
        • Obsessive Customer Focus
          • Customer experience is always at the forefront of your decision making. You are dedicated to exceeding the requirements and expectations of our direct and wholesale customers.
