Chopping it up with Cabagges
ICYMI, we just released a collaboration with Cabagges aka @cabagges.world, the Brooklyn-based duo known for their home cooking and lifestyle content.
We’re all pretty huge fans of their whole vibe over here at Crap, so we jumped at the opportunity to ask Anna and Kevin a few questions.
Keep scrolling for some insight into the Cabagges’ world, and shop their collection here.

Can you tell us a little bit about how Cabagges began?
When we first started dating we were cooking for each other a lot, and after a while we started making videos of those meals for fun. I think subconsciously it was just a way for us to document those early days of our relationship. At some point we changed the account name to Cabagges and slowly became more consistent and adventurous with our cooking. We’ve honestly improved our skills quite a lot over time!

Any upcoming projects you're excited about?
We’ve loved working our own apparel and accessories, creating these sort of cheeky, food-centric items just feels like a natural extension of the world we’re building—a way to show people who we are in a more tangible way. We’ve only just started, so we’re still learning what makes sense and trying to push ourselves more creatively while still having fun with it.

How do your design and cooking practices intersect?
Our design aesthetic probably comes through most clearly in the way we set up our kitchen and the way we plate our food. We try not to be too delicate about either, but to us, being intentional about making your space and your food beautiful is what makes cooking so fun!
Biggest recipe inspo?
The dishes we grew up eating in Hawaii will always be present in how we approach new recipes. Not just with our comfort dishes, but the way that cultures become so fused with one another through food there. And of course travel. We always come home from trips with lots of new ideas to incorporate into what we eat at home.
Phone eats first?
In our line of work…it has to!
