We’ve been friends with The Paranoyds since their first shows over ten years ago (Windward circle thrift store gig? Hollywood sidewalk show at Cobra Shop?!) Since then, the childhood friends have become a fixture of LA’s rock scene, honing their signature brand of lo-fi punk fuzz, Shangri-Las girl group-era vocals and absurdist sci-fi surrealism. 

The band is currently laying low in their rehearsal space writing a new album for Jack White’s Third Man Records. We dropped by and convinced them to take a little break for a quick q&a and some record shopping at Cosmic Vinyl. Keep scrolling for more :)
