Guest Lens: Alexander Spit

Guest Lens is an editorial photo series showcasing capsule shoots from some of our favorite photographers. For our fourth installment, we're excited to feature Crap Eyewear music family ambassador Alexander Spit.

Spit became part of the Crap Music Fam about five summers ago when we met through mutual friends and functions in LA and Bay Area. Aside from being a prolific rapper with an unrivaled knack for crafting soulful hip hop (peep his soundcloud), Spit is also known for his always unforgettable monthly party in Los Angeles, Spitset, and a strong creative eye behind the lens.

For his Guest Lens, Spit shot his homies Lanier Oakley, Chidi Himself and Duckwrth around East LA, all locations he's spotted getting to and from his home in Highland Park.

"I knew I wanted to shoot during that magic hour right before the sun sets in Los Angeles. There's no lighting in the world better than during that time in LA."

The whole shoot went down in that 45 minute window with the whole crew run and gun mobbing from spot to spot in Spit's Jeep. Check out the results and all credits below.
