Guest Lens: Olivia Jaffe

Guest Lens is our editorial photo series showcasing capsule shoots from some of our favorite photographers.

For the newest installment of our Guest Lens, we're beyond excited to call on longtime friend Olivia Jaffe, who's been at the top of our list for a Guest Lens since we started the series.

LA born and raised, Olivia Jaffe is a real rock n' roller. She's spent the better part of this decade touring the world with bands and documenting life on the road. Olivia's photos are both beautiful and raw; they immortalize that timeless, rebellious spirit of the devil's music.

For her Guest Lens, Olivia linked up with her favorite friend couple – model Danielle Dolinger and rocker Marlon Rabenreither of C.G. Roxanne & The Nightmares (you may remember C.G. soundtracked our Spring 2016 Lookbook) — as she's wanted to shoot them together for some time now.

Olivia told us she wanted this Guest Lens to "feel like Rock 'n' Roll High School, The Hunger, and Repo Man turned into a date at the cemetery."

"We got booted from the location during our last shot of the day, and decided to wrap things up outside cemetery gates. Just so happened that Gold Star Diner was right across the street, and for those of you who don't know, Gold Star is also the name of Marlon's solo project. We finished shooting in front of the Gold Star sign. Synchronicity, man. There are no mistakes." — Olivia Jaffe
